    Environmental Energies

    Greenhouse Gases

Seven greenhouse gases make up your carbon footprint (CO2).  Fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas or coal burn to generate your current electrical supply and emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The process is known as your carbon footprint.

Carbon footprints have a negative impact on the environment, and the government has created legislation to monitor this.

Some of the blue-chip companies have benefitted from converting to clean energy.  Google, IKEA and the Kingfisher Group have committed to producing as much renewable energy as they consume.  They know that they have protection against future price fluctuations.
