OUR SOLUTIONS

Environmental Energies offer a wide range of innovative renewable energy solutions to businesses and individuals in the UK. Sustainable, cost effective and energy efficient, our bespoke green energy solutions are managed end-to-end, from development and installation through to monitoring, administration, and ongoing maintenance.

Based in the Midlands, we cover the length and breadth of the UK:
From Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Avon & Dorset, across the South West and South East of the country, including London, Kent, Surrey, Essex and Milton Keynes and through all the Shire counties (Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Huntingdonshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire), across the whole of Wales, Birmingham and the West Midlands, through to Manchester, Merseyside, Cumbria, East Anglia and the rest of the UK.

WHAT IS RENEWABLE ENERGY?

Different forms of green renewable energy can be utilised to provide electricity and heat to homes and businesses across the UK. Energy can be generated from a variety of technologies such as solar PV, biomass boilers, heat pumps, combined heat and power (CHP), organic rankine cycle (ORC), and pyrolysis. Other green technologies like LED lighting and voltage optimisation can help to reduce energy consumption. Whilst technologies such as pyrolysis and biomass can also be utilised to reduce waste, save money on disposal cost and comply with circular economy regulations.

We design our renewable energy solutions to help individuals, businesses, corporate organisations and communities reduce energy costs, cut their carbon footprint and taxes and conform to government legislations, while generating an excellent return on their green energy investment.

We supply, install and maintain an extensive range of innovative renewable energy solutions, as well as the latest Waste to Energy technologies and alternative commercial heating solutions.

Our projects can encompass a single or multitude of green technologies, all customised to meet your individual requirements.

Solar panels, solar power, solar energy

SOLAR PV

A solar PV system (also known as solar photovoltaics) is a renewable energy generating system designed to supply usable solar power during daylight hours. Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels harness the unlimited free energy provided by the sun to generate electricity, reducing the need to rely on the fossil fuel derived energy supplied by the national grid.

Solar PV systems are eligible for the government incentive known as the Feed-in Tariff (FIT).

AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP

An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a heating system which transfers heat from the outside of a building to the inside, or vice versa. A high efficiency air source heat pump can provide up to four times as much heat as an electric heater would if it were using the same amount of energy.

Air source heat pumps are eligible for the Domestic and Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) subsidies from the government.

GROUND SOURCE HEAT PUMP

A ground source heat pump is an electrical heat pump that extracts heat from the ground to provide hot water and cooling for commercial and residential buildings. Ground source heat pumps are an environmentally friendly way of heating and cooling a building on demand all year round.

Ground source heat pumps are eligible for the Domestic and Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) subsidies from the government.

WASTE TO ENERGY

Environmental Energies will deliver the most effective Waste to Energy solution for your business by utilising the most appropriate technology for your waste, based on the type and volume of waste you are looking to transform, and the nature of energy you need to produce.

The energy produced can often be eligible for government subsidies such as the ROC, FIT, CHP and Domestic and Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments.

Biomass boilers

BIOMASS BOILERS

Biomass originates from natural energy sources including timber, crops and plants which can be burnt to generate heat and power. Biomass boilers are not only more cost effective than fossil fuels, it’s more eco-friendly too.

Businesses and households that have biomass boilers can also benefit from the Domestic and Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) subsidies from the government.

A CHP Combined Heat and Power system

COMBINED HEAT & POWER (CHP)

A conventional power plant makes electricity by a fairly inefficient process. The concept of CHP (sometimes known as thermal reclamation) is to capture heat generated from either a natural gas fed boiler, a biomass boiler, or heat that would normally be wasted during production processes and convert it into a combination of both heat and electricity that can be used on site.

VOLTAGE OPTIMISATION

Voltage optimisation is the control of the level of voltage of your electricity supply. Optimising voltage can significantly reduce electrical energy use and improve the useful life of your electrical equipment.
